Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)
CSA is a partnership between farmers and the community. Members purchase shares before the season begins to cover the cost of seeds and growing. In return, they receive a weekly share of the farm’s fresh harvest throughout the season, and a connection to where their food is grown. Verrill Farm CSA shares are available in full, half, and one-month mini options. We also offer add-on shares featuring mushrooms and flowers from local partner farms.
How It Works
Our market-style CSA gives members the flexibility to choose their own items each week from a wide selection of fresh produce. As our harvests change with the seasons and vary depending on weather, the variety and quantity of available crops vary each week.
Members visit the farm during a designated pickup time to make their selections. Everyone chooses from the same range of options, with quantities based on the share size purchased.
CSA Share Options
All CSA members choose from the same selection of produce each week, with the number of items varying by share size. Full shares typically include 12–20+ items per week—ideal for families or avid home cooks. Half shares include 6–10+ items and are well-suited for individuals or smaller households.

CSA FAQ's
What is included in a CSA share each week?
A CSA share includes a rotating selection of fresh, seasonal produce grown on the farm. The variety and number of choices will change depending on what’s in season.
What’s the difference between a full share and a half share?
All CSA members choose from the same selection of produce each week, with the number of items varying by share size. Full shares typically include 12–20+ items per week—ideal for families or avid home cooks. Half shares include 6–10+ items and are well-suited for individuals or smaller households.
How long does the CSA season last?
The CSA season runs for 18 weeks from mid-June through early October. Exact dates are announced prior to the start of the season. We also offer one-month mini share options.
Can I choose the produce I receive each week?
Yes, we offer a “market-style” CSA. This means members get to choose from a selection of available produce each week rather than receiving a pre-packed box. Broaden your horizons and try new produce and recipes!
How and where do I pick up my CSA share?
CSA shares are picked up weekly in the CSA tent outside the farmstand in Concord, MA, during designated pickup hours—Wednesdays from 3:00–6:30 p.m.
What happens if I miss a pickup?
You can ask a friend or family member to pick up your share on your behalf. If you notify the farm ahead of time, your share can also be donated to a local food pantry.
Can I split a share with a friend or family member?
Yes, some members choose to split their share. How you divide the produce is up to you, but only one person should pick up each week.
Is the produce organic or grown using sustainable practices?
We combine conventional and organic growing methods with sustainable farming practices and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) to produce healthy, flavorful produce while protecting the environment.
How do I sign up and when does registration open?
You can sign up online through Verrill Farm’s website, beginning in late January. Spots are limited and fill up quickly, so early registration is encouraged.
What is the cancellation policy for CSAs?
CSA shares are not refundable but are transferable in the event that you are unable to use your share.
