PickYour Own Visit FAQ
What crops are available for pick-your-own and when?
We offer PYO strawberries for a few weeks starting in early June; the flower garden from mid-July through September; sunflowers from August through September; and pumpkins in October. Actual harvest dates are dictated by Mother Nature and weather conditions, so please call our PYO hotline, 978-245-7311, or check our website or social media for the most up-to-date information.
Do I need to purchase tickets or make a reservation in advance?
We highly recommend reservations for strawberry picking, which can be made through the link on our website. If a time slot isn’t fully booked, remaining tickets will be available at the PYO Wagon at the field entrance.
Advance booking is not required for sunflowers, the flower garden, or pumpkins. To pick flowers, simply purchase a reusable cup in the farmstand and head to the field to fill it with blooms. For pumpkins, choose your favorite pumpkin and pay at the PYO Wagon.
Are outside containers allowed or are picking containers provided?
We provide containers for strawberries, garden flowers, and other PYO events. Outside containers are not allowed for PYO activities.
Are pets allowed in the pick-your-own fields?
With the exception of certified service animals, pets are not allowed anywhere in the farmstand or on the farm, including the fields, due to food safety regulations.
What happens if it rains or the weather is bad?
We will notify you if your reservation is canceled due to weather or other unforeseen conditions, with the option of a refund or a rescheduled time slot if available. Be sure to check your email for updates.
Can children participate in pick-your-own activities?
PYO is a great family activity. Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times.
Are the field passes refundable?
Field passes are non-refundable unless we decide to close the fields due to weather or other circumstances. In these cases, we will refund unredeemed passes.
